Other Electro-Optic Crystals

KNbO₃ crystal is a good electro-optic crystal because of its large E-O coefficients. It is specially useful for electro-optic modulation or Q-switch at low half-wave-voltage.

LiIO₃ is also a potential E-O crystal for some E-O applications. PbB₄O₇ is a new E-O crystal under development in CASIX.

We also provide polarizers and waveplates which are used to construct E-O Q-Switches and modulators (see our Optics Guide 1997).
